The Shangxia Hang Historic and Cultural District is a significant part of Fuzhou's cultural heritage. It includes 15 residential areas and 88 residential buildings, with around 11,790 residents. The Shuixiang Smart Community is located in the commercial area surrounding Shuixiang, where most buildings are open-style residences with shops on the lower floors and residential units on the upper floors. Based on the "four-in-one" integration system of government, residents, enterprises, and public resources, the Shuixiang Smart Community offers convenient services, governance feedback, and happiness guarantee. Its 10 core functions include smart party building, tidal parking, smart elderly care, and security monitoring, among others. The tidal parking function makes use of idle parking spaces for short-term rentals, which helps alleviate parking difficulties and increases the community's vitality. With the support of IoT technology, the community also offers smart water meters and one-click alarm services for elderly people living alone. In addition, the community has installed cameras based on AI algorithms to recognize high-altitude objects in real-time and provide governance feedback to the community.
